Cardrona Showroom Ambassadors

Joining the Abodo team and shaping the shared role of Cardrona Showroom Ambassador are Glenn Dawson (Dawse) and Tracy Jones.

Dawse has become a recent Cardrona local after relocating back to New Zealand from Sydney with his young family. Building a house designed by Assembly Architects (who also designed Cardrona Cabin) and after some detailed research, selected to use Vulcan Charred Cladding, Dawse has become a real advocate for Abodo's products.

Long term Central Otago resident, Tracy, has a wealth of personal and work associations in the region including once living on the actual site on which Abodo's Cardrona Cabin now stands. Possessing artistic talents, learning about crafting beautiful timber in the restoration of the Cardrona Hotel and her own DIY home renovation projects, Tracy is drawn to natural products.

Feeling at home in the architecturally designed showroom, both Tracy and Dawse enjoy welcoming people to the award-winning 'Chapel to Craft’ to showcase the range of Abodo products.

During the holiday season, if you’re in the Central Otago area and passing through Cardrona, please stop by and visit at 2340 Cardrona Valley Road.

The cabin is open over the Christmas New Year break, Wed to Fri at the following times:

• Wed 28 Dec: 9.30-2.30pm
• Thurs 29 Dec - Fri 30 Dec: 12.00-5.00pm
• Wed 4 Jan: 9.30am-2.30pm
• Thurs 5 Jan - Fri 6 Jan: 12.00-5.00pm

From 9 January 2023 Cardrona Showcase’s normal Tues to Sat opening hours will apply.
